Larian Studios , developer of Baldur's Gate 3 , is encouraging players to experience the RPG in a more authentic and challenging way. A future game update will include Honor Mode, a mechanic designed to eliminate “save scumming,” a common practice where players repeatedly load saved games to undo unwanted actions or outcomes. Image: Larian Studios In Baldur's Gate 3's Honor Mode, players will only have one save file, which will be overwritten each time the game progresses. This means that every significant event, such as the death of a character or the outcome of a battle, will be permanent. With this change, Larian Studios aims to create greater tension in every decision and dice roll, encouraging players to act more cautiously. This approach is nothing new for the Czech Republic Mobile Number List developers, as a single save mode was an integral part of Divinity: Original Sin 2 , Larian Studios' previous game.
